How long does a resin driveway last?

Resin bound paving is a strong, long-lasting surface. While warranties span from 10 to 21 years, when installed and cared for properly, they may last for more than 25 years.

Resin-bound driveways are often less expensive than block paving. Weeds will not grow in between the gaps in resin bound driveways because there are none. They won’t be displaced, therefore there won’t be any charges for repairs or re-laying.

Any complications that may occur after the resin driveway has been placed generally occur within a few days after completion. After a few days, there are relatively few issues that might arise, with the exception of minor surface cracking.

This changes according to the amount of traffic. We suggest 16-24 hours for pedestrian traffic. We recommend waiting at least 48 hours for vehicular and heavy traffic to ensure the surface is properly cured.

The simple answer is no. A resin driveway, when properly installed, should be weed resistant. No weeds should grow through the surface. Nevertheless, seedlings in the air may drop on the resin driveway and produce growth.
